EUWELD®HARD is a specially designed hardfacing electrode very high alloyed through the coating, with a high content ofchromium carbide and niobium – tungsten carbide. This combination guarantees high resistance to abrasion and very high hardness even at the temperatures of up to 860°C.
APPLICATIONS:
For hardfacing of all types of steels with a high exposure of wear and tear and abrasion (brick industries, ceramic industries, cement industries, coal mines, thermal plants, road constructions, agriculture industries, rock drilling and crushing equipments, hammers, extruders, steal mills, all industries mechanization etc)
The high percentage of hardness retention of up to 860°C, makes it possible to replace Stellite in many applications.
HARDENES:
- Layer: 64-66 HRC
- Layer: 66-68 HRC
RECOMMENDED AMPERAGE:
Diameter(mm) | 3,2 | 4,0 | 5,0 |
Min (A) | 60 | 80 | 100 |
Max (A) | 120 | 140 | 160 |
RECOMMENDED CURRENT:
AC or DC (+) or (-)
WELDING POSITIONS:
All positions
WELDING TECHNIQUE:
Stinger or wave beads
The slag is minimal and there is no need for cleaning between the layers.
Only two layers are needed for the maximum hardness benefits from this electrode.
